Energean plc is an international hydrocarbon exploration and production company with a primary focus on natural gas in the Eastern Mediterranean region. Headquartered in London and listed on the London Stock Exchange as a FTSE 250 constituent, it operates producing assets and major development projects across Israel, Egypt, Italy, Greece, and Croatia. The company's flagship Karish gas field offshore Israel began production in October 2022, delivering around 6 billion cubic meters of gas annually, while the adjacent Olympus area holds additional discoveries. Other key assets include the NEA/NI gas fields in Egypt and the Cassiopea project offshore Italy, targeting first gas in 2024.
